EDUCATING AND CONNECTING PEOPLE THROUGH PHOTOGRAPHY

The 2015 Los Angeles County Air Show was held at the William J. Fox Airfield in Lancaster, CA.  There was a wide variety of planes to photograph including historic WWII Warbirds, present-day Military aircraft, aerobatic planes with performers, and speeding jets.  A highlight this year was the performance of the US Air Force Thunderbirds Jet Demonstration Team which was a fabulous tribute to our military.

3/21 & 22/2015 - George "Hutch" Hutchison - I like Air Shows. I find them to be an exciting and challenging photography venue where there is easy access for shooting and no press pass is needed to take spectacular photojournalism images – unlike a rodeo or horse race where the prime photography locations are limited and often restricted to the professional press photographer. I often refer to Air Shows as the “adult photographer’s video game.”

Check out my video below and you can see over one hundred photos that I shot at this Air Show at: http://www.digitaldaydreaming.com/la_airshow   I am already planning for the exciting “Planes of Fame”  Airshow May 2 & 3 in Chino – see you there!
